Steven Sachs

Steven Sachs is a partner at The Espinoza Law Firm.  Steven was raised in Bexar County and is a graduate of UTSA and St. Mary’s University School of Law.  Steven’s entire practice focuses solely on discrimination and retaliation based on workers’ compensation. He has repeatedly been named a “Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters and has been repeatedly named as one of San Antonio’s best lawyers by Scene In SA – a publication of the San Antonio Express News. 
As an active trial lawyer, he speaks to various organizations on the topic of work injuries, retaliation, and arbitration. Additionally, Steven currently serves as the Director of Communications for the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association (SATLA) and has served as a board member for SATLA since 2013. 
Steven has tried many complex work injury and retaliation cases in state court and in all major arbitration associations, including the AAA, JAMS, JWA, and Conflict Solutions of Texas. Additionally, Steven is one of nine national committee members of the American Arbitration Association’s employment law committee that oversees the AAA’s employment promulgated plan and rules.  Steven’s love of the law and passion for our community was inspired by his Great-Grandfather, Michael Kern, who served as a District Court Judge in New York City during the 1960’s.
Steven loves spending time with his family, training jiu-jitsu, and playing with his skateboarding English Bulldog, Capone.  Steven’s passion and legal experience in State Court and Arbitration make him an asset to The Espinoza Law Firm, PLLC and the legal community.
