Jade Heep is from Fredericksburg, Texas and grew up in San Antonio. She graduated in the top 10% of her class at St. Mary’s University School of Law in May 2018. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a focus on Forensic Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
While attending St. Mary’s University School of Law, Jade was a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal and wrote a comment on the controversy surrounding the death penalty with regard to mentally disabled prisoners.
Jade was the first college graduate in her family, and her passion for the law was facilitated by her mother who has been a paralegal for over 20 years.
Jade’s favorite thing to do in her spare time is to play with her two dogs, Pablo and Pepe, and sing karaoke; her go-to song is Selena-Como la Flor.
